I have a 1993 chev. lumina, with approx.200,000 yes alot. I"ve replaced about everything in it other then internaly(motor) it lost it's get up and go, could you tell me what it is. thank you. I already paid 5.00 thats what I been trying to explain, I had a feeling that would happen, any ideas.

tune-up w/plugs/wires not to much left to my knowledge/p>

hmmm... an engine that has lost its get up?
let's start at the beginning. i will name off a list of some things that affect engine performance in order of easiest/least costly to hardest/most costly. you may have already tried some of them.

replace air filter
run fuel injector cleaner
run throttle body/carburetor/choke cleaner
add compression enhancer to engine oil
check/replace spark plugs
check/replace spark plug wires
check/replace distributor and cap or coil pack
replace o2 sensor
replace fuel filter
check injectors for proper performance/replace as necessary
check valve clearances
check onboard computer
check engine compression
replace pistons
rebuild motor
install new motor
