I have a 2003 sportster. I had just changed my belt. And in doing so I had to unmount the rear brake resivoir, but I also had to undo the brake linkage. When I put it back together it looked fine. Took it for a test drive and my back brakes are not releasing.
the pedal pushes down and the brakes work, but the brake pedal does not come up.
In order for the brakes to release I have to put my foot under the brake pedal and lift it to its original position. What do I need to do to remedy this situation.
