ok first most or all volkswagens have a little noise problem with the shifting i think its nothing to be worried about and to the next question do you drive your car fast all the time? unless its a race car then i would advise not to drive it hard ive blown up many motors driving cars hard and it just gets costly but to your next problem i would say think of this a car needs air, fuel, and spark to run im thinking it has to be something with your spark plugs one of them is not working pull off one at a time and have someone start your car while you hold the end to the body or metal and see if you have spark in it check all if all work then go to a mechanic and have them look for it for free and they will tell you whats wrong with it and go to a low end place not tuffys or midas nothin like that they are shisters thell take your money and lie go to personaly own busness just accept question plz thanks

I don't race with the car,the reason why i drove faster was because something wasn't right ,I know this car should go faster than 100MP/h ,do you think a spark plug would cause the engine check light come on?what's the Computer's( VAG-COM ) code P 1200 ?thanks

Hello francis. The code is for a problem with the turbo wastegate in the exhaust. It's probably rusty or not fully opening or the valve is malfuntioning that controls it.This would explain everything you are experiencing. Please click accept if this answers your question.

Here is an interesting link that may help.

It's called the n249 valve and if you have to ask,you may want to have this done by a professional. The MAF would not usually set this code.It would be nice though, because VW is rimbursing owners for the cost of the MAF sensor when it is replaced by contacting VOA for details(Volkswagen of America).
