I own a 1999 Contour... I just replaced the fuel

I own a 1999 Contour... I just replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump, spark plugs and wires. The car dies when I try to accelerate. The check engine light isn't coming on, so I'm not getting any codes. What do you think it could be?
