Question

Is it okay to have my transmission flushed by aamco?

Sent to Car Experts April 03, 2006 2:17 p.m.

i have a 99 chrysler 300 m, the car is having trouble changing gears and has recently been stuck in 2nd gear....the spedometer is stuck at zero....and it appears that the problem is partly with the computer....however the mechanic at aamco recommended having a power flush as well....he said it is recommended and if any thing happenes to the transmission afterward it means there was something wrong with the transmission to begin with...
