The doors should automatically lock around 15mph. If they also unlock when driving then you have a short to ground.

Reply to Dave's Post: If I lock the door it does not happen, would this be the case if there was a short to ground?

yes, If you lock them yourself, then they wont lock as they already are, like I said this is a normal function and they should lock automatically around 15mph for safety. Most all new cars do this these days, it was a feature they added as people in the bigger cities were getting robbed when at a stop light. Sounds like they are operating as designed. However, they should not unlock themselfs when driving, if this occurs there is a short.

Reply to Dave's Post: This random locking and instantly unlocking happens whether its just parked there or driving
in fact when starting to drive sometimes nothing happens for maybe 10 or 15mins then it locks and unlocks then nothing again for maybe 5 mins
Like I said this also happens if the car is just parked there engine off.

If I were to throw a dart at it, I would replace the drivers door power door lock assy. I have seen this many times when they get wet, will short out.
