'94 Caravan 3.0L A/C not cooling. Turn it on, max fan, nothing but ambient air. Had recharge last year $70.00. Does it need another recharge?

That is the most likely cause.Pressure gauges would need hooked up to find out for sure.If it has leaked out already you have a large leak and it should be fixed.A common source of a leak on that model is the evaporator core.It is also the hardest part to find the leak on.I would suggest you pay a little extra to have dye added to the system to help find the leak.

The part alone is about $350 and the labor is about 7 hours.I would call around for the best price if you find out it's leaking.
