how do you find a vacuum leak in your engine?

Already Tried:
we just changed the first exhaust sensor then all of the sudden after my husband but everything back i now have a vacuum leak - my hubby said yes everything is back on correctly but i do not think so - also the car is missing even if there is no vacuum leak
