I have a 94, 98 Regency Olds. The starter turns but does ...

I have a 94, 98 Regency Olds. The starter turns but does not turn over all the way. No grinding noise of any kind. It just doesn't engage to go Thank you

Optional Information:
1994 General Motors Regency

Already Tried:
It has been at the repair shop for 4 days with them changing the throttle position sensor and the pass-key module. Still not running

If you are sure the starter is engaging and trying to turn have the battery tested at an auto parts store.If it's bad replace it and try again.If it's not bad replace the strter but buy a good one don't buy the cheap house brand because it won't last if it even works at all.

This has been going on for months. It intermittinly starts, goes for quite some time and then suddenly doesn't turn over. The battery was put in last year by AAA. Could it still be the battery?
