Question

I have a 92 pontiac grand prix 3.1 L engine . Engine

Sent to Car Experts March 27, 2006 1:43 a.m.

I have a 92 pontiac grand prix 3.1 L engine . Engine turns over fine but will not fire. Always started fine before. Problem started without warning. I have 40psi when I checked the gas pressure at the schroeder valve on the engine. Pulled some plugs but found no spark on them so, I changed the iginitian module . The problem is the same. Where should I check next? I couldn't find any bad wires going to the module and I tested all the fuses on the passenger side fuse block, under the hood.

Optional Information:
1992 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.1 liter

Already Tried:
Replaced ignitian module.

ACCEPTED Check Mark

Obviously you already know that you don't have a distributor cap.

You need to test for injecter pulse using a noid light. (shown below)

If you find out you don't have injecter pulse either, then I would look at a bad Crankshaft Position Sensor.
