I have a 1998 Pontiac Sunfire and recently it has been making a very annoying screeching sound when i turn my wheel to the left. but when i press on the brakes it stops and starts again when i turn the wheel. It seems to be making that noise a little more often, even when I'm not turning the wheel. Could it be may brakes or something more major? oh yeah, i just got another transmission put in my car 1 week before this started.
