I have a 1986 vanagon syncro. It has a strange thing when you turn right most of the time and when you drive straight ahead more and more as time goes bye, the engine cuts out for just a second. the only symptims is the speed limit gauge and engine cuts out and drops to 0 for a split second and then comes right back on. The headlights or dash lights are not affected. Only the speedometer is affected. An electric guy says it is not the electrical problem, he says it is a mechanical problem and not electicical. thank you for your help. sfvdispensary@aol.com
