1998 Toyota Avalon   how do i remove the rear seat cushion from my 98 toyota avalon. My haynes manual says there are bolts to remove but I see what apears to be some type of other fastner (no bolt heads) . It seems they may pop out if I pry on them but i dont want to break them. I need to replace the rear struts

The seat bottom cushion should have some type of button release and it will pop up. The rear seat cushion will have 2 bolts at the bottom.

See if there is a plastic piece in the front of the pin that can be pushed in. On some, you have to push a lever to the side. I can't find you any pictures for it or I would have posted them.
