I purchased a 1989 ford escort. It is a 1 owner car. has 92k miles, it will not get fire from coil to distributor, it is not fuel injected, it has the mini injector where the caburator would be, the wires to the coil are both hot, one wire on top of mini injector is hot, it is getting fuel, you can see it PLEASE HELP

Most of the time on those the module is bad.It's called a thick film ignition module.When you change it I highly recommend changing the pick up in the distributor to avoid a repeat failure.You will need a special socket to remove the module,probably about $5.The auto parts should have it also.
