Passenger side floor gets very hot and the carpet under side looks like its burning up

Already Tried:
put complete exhaust system,changed carb. the engine exhaust still seems to be very hot

Thanks for the question.

I would check to see if the cat-converter under the vehicle is getting really hot or not. If it is, too much fuel is getting into the exhaust system, or it is partially plugged.

Reply to Fordanswerman's Post: After a cold start warmup by pumping the foot pedal witch takes about6 t 8 min it rpms up and runs smooth, but sometimes if it stalls i will turn it over and over it will not start so i spray some starter fluid and it starts up ,i have a new fuel pump and filter
