I have a 2002 dodge diesel 2500 pick-up and the heat grid won't heat up. I've checked the relays. The power to relay isn't coming on even tho the wait to start light does cycle on and off.

Optional Information:
2002 Dodge 2500 4x4 5.9 diesel

Already Tried:
scanner will activate heat grid relays, grids will then heat up. Relays will not activate with key on and wait to start light on.

This is a diagram of the system. The pcm controls the heater. If you can command it on all the circuits have to be good. It may be the controller causing this problem. Also make sure it is cold enough for them to come on. They do not always. Also the pcm monitors all the circuits for the heaters and will usually set code if there is a fault.
