I have 1999 Ford Taurus. It's about 82,000 miles and I bought the car at 74,000 miles. I have had numerous problems with this car and I really have no where to turn or what to do now. The day I bought the car, I had to get the fuel pump replaced. That was done prior to me leaving the lot. A month later, I had the transmission pan replaced due to my friend borrowing the car and had a small accident. After that my service engine light came on and it was the camshaft sensor error. I brought the vehicle back to to the dealership and they replaced my spark plugs. A few weeks later, the service engine light came back on and I had the head gasket replaced. The next day, the service light came on again. I went to Autozone and they said it was the camshaft. The dealership is not finding the problem. Throughout all this, I have been having problems with my coolant. I would have to put coolant in at least once every week. I have informed them of this and they said this problem would be fixed once the head gasket was replaced. It's still a problem. I would drive the vehicle and when I need to put more coolant in is when the temperature gets cold with the heat on and the temperature needle would rise to the H. This has been a problem since I purchased the vehicle. Can I return the vehicle back to the dealership and demand for a different car? Can I do that? I've only had this car 6 months. I still have warranty (8,000 miles left), but I'm just afraid that once my warranty runs out, there will be bigger problems. What are my options???? Thank you very much!!!!
