I have a 1998 Chevy S-10 Pick-up with 106,000 miles. I just started to experience a "chugging" effect. The truck will start moving fine but once I reach a higher RPM it feels like it miss fires, or slips, creating the chugging effect. It aslo struggles to maintain a top speed of 70 miles an hour, even when the accelerator is pressed all the way down. Oil pressure has been consistent since before this problem started. The truck is not overheating either. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
