how do i fix the oil pan gasket on a 2000 toyota camry ce? It suppossedly was fixed by a dealership but a pre purchase inspection said its still needs repair the dealership does not want to repair again so I will

The dealership said an independent mechanic fixed it and the pre purchase inspection from a local garage said they didnt. Dealershio says fix it myself no warrenties

will first Try,, torquing the pan bolts first Maybe one or two are loose. Although if your bolts are fine, you do need to change it, it's not that difficult, you just drain the oil, the exhaust pipe out of the way. remove all of the mounting bolts for the pan, drop the pan, pull all of the old gasket off both mating surfaces, put your new one on with a little bit of sealant, and you're set to go. Very simple job. Can be done at the most 25 minutes.

how do i know what the torque is for the bolts? i would need to move the exhaust pipe to get it out of the way?
