I did not buy the whole mirror assembly as stated in my reply. This seems to indicate the only way to replace the broken mirror and part behind it is to replace the ENTIRE mirror assembly which I do not have.

Hammer time,

I think we are making progress. From your picture, the part that the mirror is attached to, does go on with simply pushing it down over four clips. However, the piece that the mirror clips on to is also what I lost. I had to purchased the entire assembly that the mirror goes on to and was wondering if I can just replace the part that the mirror is attached to without having to try to take the whole assembly apart.

The instructions say to pry this off but it appears to lift up.

  1. Pry off the holder (A) from the housing (B).

This is for removing the motor if you want to go that far.

Images available only to Customers.

  1. Remove the four screws (A) and the actuator (B) from the housing.
  2. Pull the wire (C) from the housing.
  3. Install in the reverse of removal. Replace the mirror and three screws with new one.
