I have a 97 Grand Am... the is a metal on metal sound coming from right front near the a/c compressor. my friend thinks its the a/c clutch not fully disengaging. The sound is getting progressively worse, especially when the car idles down (i.e. coasting to an intersection) then quiets down when i accelerate. What is this and how do i make it stop?
