Hi, I commonly see this problem on Honda's and the door switches are fine. When you open the door and press the switches in/out the light turns on/off. What I've found is that if the door is out of adjustment it will cause the switch to not be pushed in hard enough and cause the light to come on.

Some vehicles the light stays on for a set amount of time but they shut off, I'm assuming this isn't the case though with your problem.

If this helps please accept. thanks

Are you sure you checked ALL the switched that turn on the light? I think there is also one for the hatch/tailgate.

If everything is good with that, I'm thinking that the body control module is faulty. It's not uncommon with Jeeps. I hear it's in the headlight switch itself but I'm not for sure. I'd call the dealer and find out. Here's a link I found :http://www.2carpros.com/topics/lights.htm

if this helps please accept my answer, thanks
