My 93 Honda accord drivers door is jambed shut. It was partially shut and I tryed to open it with the door handle and it would not open. So I thought it had to be shut all the way before the door handle would open it and I shut it all the way and tryed again and still nothing. We took the door panel off, (while the door was still shut, What a trick , you should try it sometime!!), and pulled on all the linkages for the lock and the door hanlde but nothing will release this door latch. This all happened when I was trying to prop my Gas lever up with a shop rag so I could pry the gas door open since the cable has been broken.
PLEASE HELP, The honda service rep. said he’d never seen one like this and said he’d probably say to take a air chisel and cut off the latch, and replace it.
