I have a 1998 Ford Mustang 3.8 V6. I was driving yesterday, and all of a sudden the oil pressure gauge starting acting erratic. Two minutes later, the Check Engine light illuminated. I pulled over and disconnected the battery and re-connected to see if it was a one-time occurence. No such luck. I noticed that in Neutral the oil pressure stays normal or dips barely, however, as soon as Drive or Reverse are engaged, the erraticness comes back and sometimes even dipping to zero for a brief moment. Also, when the gauge drops (only when it goes to zero), so does the engine RPM's almost like it's about to die. Turning the wheel also causes the gauge to drop down a bit. The oil pressure issue comes after about five minutes of driving, and the Check Engine light does not always come on when the gauge is acting erratic. I have not physically checked the oil pressure yet, but no "strange sounds" are heard at all. I have checked the code and it was a Camshaft Position Sensor fault. I changed the Cam Sensor (but not the synchronizer). The synchronizer looked in good condition and did not wobble as it would if the bearing was going out. The car has 159,000 miles. Is there any TSB's with this sort of problem? Are the Cam Sensor and the oil pressure drop two seperate issues that just so happened to appear at the same time?

Optional Information:
1998 Ford Mustang 3.8L V6

Already Tried:
Changed Cam Sensor. Checked synchronizer. Changed oil pressure sender
