ACCEPTED Check Mark

A 1991 is not going to flag a code for a misfire that would be 1996 and up so the computer won't know. The problem you are having is very indicative of a secondary ignition misfire.I would strongly suggest replacing the cap, rotor, plug wires and plugs. That will most likely solve your problem you can't really always look and see a problem with your eyes. You can try spraying some water on the cap and wires to see if that indues a misfire then that would tell you for 100% they are bad.On Hondas part of the wire is down in the valve cover so it may not always catch the problem with the water test.If you have oil on the spark plug wires change the valve cover gasket also.
