I have just installed an after market AM/FM CD player into my 1998 Dodge Durango. I purchased a pig tail so I would not have to remove the factory pig tails that plugged into the factory radio. There was an orange wire on the pigtail that didnt corespond to any wire on the aftermarket CD player. I was told it was the dimmer and that the radio probably did not have that option. I was to I should tape it off and not use this orange wire. I completed the install, and everything worked fine with the radio and CD player. However, Now all of my dash lights are out. what could have cause all the dash lights to go all at once?
