1996 Honda Civic DX Coupe

While I was driving I went to hit the gas and the engine shut off. I then turned the radio, heater, and lights off then tried to re-start it and it would just keep cranking but will not start. There is gas in the car for sure. I had to leave the car on the street two towns over and I am going back tommarow to try to see if I can fix it before getting it towed. If you can help that would be great, just what I can do or check and how to do it. Thank you so much! - Mark

Checked Gas. Nothing else really. Not sure about the engine type its a DX Couple i believe 1.6L
