i have a 2000 neon it will run for about a day when you shut it off then try to restart it it acts like there is no connection from the key switch to anything no lights on the dash will come on and you cant here the starter click or any thing when i reset the computer it will start ive had the car to the dealership and they reprogrammed the computer but it still did the same thing i had the computer sent off to be rebuilt and they said there was nothing wrong with it what could it be BETH

having the computer reprogrammed and rebuilt they said there wasnt anything wrong with the computer also when you plug into the computer the machine wont read it but the technitian i sent it to to have it rebuilt said there was nothing wrong with the communication or anything with the computer

how could it be the ignition switch if it will start it when i reset the computer it seems like if that was the problem it wouldnt start at all

when i unhook the battery terminal and while its unhooked turnthe key switch then hook the battery back up and it will start
