I'm replacing rear pads and rotors on a 2000

I'm replacing rear pads and rotors on a 2000 Passat but can't seem to figure out how to get the caliper puck to retract. I assume it has something to do with the parking brake but I haven't found the key. I tried opening the bleed fitting but that didn't do it.
Help!

Optional Information:
2000 Volkswagen passat 1.8l turbo

Already Tried:
tried bleeding fluid back out of the line but the puck still won't move inward.

Most of them screw back in. use a large pair of needle noise pliers to grip the divits in the piston and turn. Auto zone sell a tool for this. Hope this helps. Please click accept for me. Thanks.
