Sent to Car Experts February 05 11:39 AM

I have a 1997 grand am se v6, just added a replacement engine with 25,000 miles, and just had my tranmission rebuilt, just got my car out the transmission shop (2-03-2006) the mechanic of the shop said it keep blowing out the fuse (one of the 20amp)under the hood. which cause the car to go into a limp mood. so while I was driving it back home the fuse blown again, so I replace it with a (30amp fuse) it clear my codes on the dash (abs, brake light, which was on.) when I replace the 20amp with the 30amp fuse, the car runs good to I reach the speed of 20 to 25 mph. what could this new problem be. or do I need to take back to transmission place. thanks!

Thanks for your question. I would definately take it back to the trans shop. They may have pinched a wire somewhere.

Thanks
