1998 Pathfinder LE ..... recently left vehicle at airport ..
Sent to Car Experts February 04 09:23 AM

1998 Pathfinder LE alarm problem..... recently left vehicle at airport for 4 days. Came back and battery was dead. In attempting to jump start, alarm goes off as soon as voltage is applied to battery. Is the alarm brain in this vehicle under the driver's seat ?? Apparently, I can pull out two fuses from this alarm brain to bypass alarm and allow my vehicle to start ??

Thanks!Optional Information: 1998 Nissan Pathfinder

assume it is a factory alarm .... didn't even realize the car had an alarm! It's never gone off before in the 4 years I've owned it

thanks .. I actually have to drive in another vehicle to the airport to try this out. If it doesn't work ... do you know whether the alarm fuses are under the driver seat ?
