Is it possible to repair a plastic bumper that has been torn apart? My car (98' Toyota Camary) hit another and the frame of the other drivers car tore a strip out of my bumper. It can cost me mere dollars to sand, bondo, then paint the problem or replace the bumper myself, with the second option at a higher cost. Asthetics arent really an issue but I want to know if working with plastic is really as hard as it is said to be. Or if it is considered by the public and automotive industry cheaper to just throw it away? And ultimately, should I buy a new bumper.
