The sun roof does have drains. I am sorry I do not have a diag. but its fairly simple the head liner must be removed to allow acess to the drains. But I have had sucess cleaning them by opening the sun roof all the way, look in each of the four corners and you should see the drain holes. Make sure they are not clogged then blow compressed air through them to remove the obstruction. Be carefull because to much air will blow off the tube then you will have to remove the headliner. As for the smell the best thing is to leave all door windows open in the sun or you can take it to a detail shop who will use an ionizer to remove the smell, make sure it not leaking before you pay for this though. Hope this helps please click accept for me. Thanks.
