I just replaced the intake gasket and water pump on my 1996 chevy blazer 4.3L. Once I got all the connectors, and the battery hooked back up I turned the ignition on and noticed the fuel pump wasnt working. All of the lights and accessories are working though. I checked the relays and fuses that were associated with the pump. My question is that is there anything that I might have forgotten to hook up or has something gone wrong that I didnt perform during the job.

Optional Information:
1996 Chevrolet blazer 4.3L vin W

Already Tried:
Since I dont have a scan tool there isnt much I could do outside of checking all the wires for all components in the fuel or ignition system.

I tried the key on for 2 seconds key off for 10 seconds and then the key on again. It just never kicked on. Is there anything else I could do to check the fuel without having having any specialized dealer equiptment.

I replaced the o-rings and sleeves that go into the fuel meter body, could there be anything fuel related that could have gone wrong after I hooked everything back up.

That indicates the the wiring from the relay to the pump and the pump itself is in working order. Now you have to test the wires at the relay. You will need a powered testlight that shows power or ground..

You should have one terminal powered all the time

One terminal that is ground

One terminal that goes to the pump that will indicate ground if tested

and one that powers for the first 2 seconds of "key on" only.

Tel me which one is missing and I'll go from there.

The fuse is good and I have doubled checked all connectors I diconnected during the intake removal. All were fine and I am still getting the same thing at the wires with the test light.

I just told you that the wire goes directly from the fuse to the relay. There may be connecters in between and that's what I'd be looking for. Make sure you using a test light to do this and verify that fuse was live.
