i have a 1986 dodge ram charger with a 5.2 litre 318 well it was sitting for two years before i got it and it had stale gas in it . i drove it for about 20 miles to get it home and on the way there i put new gas in. later that night i drove it to the end of my yard to have a bond fire and after the fire was over i started up my truck and it started up fine its a chrysler so i ran it about 10 minutes before i attempted to drive it . then i put it in drive and it started sputterting something i noticed every time i put it in gear. well when i was trying to go my truck stalled and never started back up. i put starting fluid in it and it wouldnt start. i cleaned the contacts in the distributor cap still wouldnt start. cleaned the plugs still wouldnt start got new plugs still wouldnt start. im getting gas air and spark from what people say. i took the plug out and put it on the valve cover and my grandfather said it sparked. but it wont start either way. well let me tell u this trucks vacuum system was butchered !!! the vacuum advance is gone from the distributor. the line to the egr valve is plugged and it has an after market holley 2bbl carb. i dont know what to do can u please help me i really need my truck back
