94 grand am overheating

Sent to Car Experts January 10 09:22 PM

94 Grand Am, 2.3L Quad4 SOHC. Replaced bad head with 93 Quad4 head. Runs just fine but overheats. Coolant does not seem to circulate. Encountered problem with relocation of thermostat from head location to pump location. Blanked out bypass channel in 93 head with aluminum plate and lots of RTV. Put new thermostat in. No improvement. Any ideas?
