we have a ford powerstroke turbodiesel that is running
Sent to Car Experts January 10 09:43 AM

We have a 96 Ford powerstroke turbodiesel that is running really rough. It starts fine, but idles hard, and won't accelerate past 30 or so even when the gas pedal is to the floor. When it finally evens out and shifts gears, it shifts really hard. We ran a computer on it and got a code for the air intake temp. sensor, high output; but we're not quite sure that's the issue. What could be causing these problems?

Optional Information:
1996 Ford F-350 turbodiesel

Already Tried:
hooking up a computer, changing the air intake sensor
