Sent to Car Experts January 01 09:50 PM

I HAVE A 1996 ASTRO. I RECENTLY REPLACED THE INTAKE GASKET AFTER THAT I GOT THE CODE P0147 FOR O2 HEATER MALFUNCTION, RESET AND VAN WAS OK FOR A DAY. NOW I HAVE CODES P0101, P0146, AND P0147. TRANSMISSION IS ACTING FUNNY, DOGGY ACCELERATION FROM STOP THEN ENGINE RPMS ROCKET BUT NOT MUCH ACCEL. THEN SLAMS INTO 2ND. WHEN CRUISING SEEMS THAT THE TRANS HAS NO IDEA WHAT TO DO WITH ITSELF.

Your going to need a scan tool to access the computer sensor data to verify if the sensors are sending the proper information.

I would first clear the computer and see if all of the codes reset themselves. Some of them may have been in memory due to something being unplgged during the repair.

I will accept your answers, but I suppose I should not have used this site. I realize its hard to diagnose a problem over the computer, but I already know and or checked and done the obvious, I was trying to find more in depth info. Thought something like this may have happened before. I guess its a coincidence.
enjoy!
