ls k intermittant nostart then i hear a click in the

91 LS400 117K Intermittant no-start, then i hear a click in the engine compartment and the starter spins normally.

Optional Information:
1991 Lexus LS400 4L V8

Already Tried:
Nothing but a new battery. Sometimes when it won't start, even though the battery is fully charged, the jump box will kick whatever 'clicks' and then it will start. Also, last night had brake and battery lights come on intermittantly on the way home. No start this am ...

Sounds like your starter relay is bad.Also could be starter solenoid going bad.Check connection of relay and replace that if necessary.Also check and clean your battery terminals,corrosion may be reducing voltage. Also just for info,if the clicking noise is down bythe starter-the starter may be going bad.I would replace the relay first though. Thanks John
