1998 Chevy freeze plug problems
Sent to Car Experts December 20 10:53 PM

I have a 1998 chevy cavilar(pls excues the spelling). It's a 2.2 liter engine, and I live in Hawaii. My question is, what would cause a freeze plug to burst, and how much should i except to pay to replace the freeze pug, ballpark figure. Just to let you know, there are no major parts infront of it to remove to get to it, actually, I can touch it with my finger, but have no experience on how to replace it. If my car was a 77 grand prix, I would have no problem with this. Any help that can be provied would be great, thanks. Paul B.
