i have camaro sports coupe that overheats unless i m

i have 87' camaro sports coupe that overheats unless i'm moving. at stops it will quickly overheat and start spewing coolant out of the overflow. i've changed the thermostat 3 times and now have a 180 degree thermostat. i also changed out the water pump, the fan works, and i can't see any leaking of antifreeze. its supposedly a 305 v8 4bbl
