I have aToyota Tacoma truck( 1995), two wheel drive, 2.4 engine. The check engine light started to come on and I noticed that the windsheild wiper blades are slower when I first start the car. I replaced the battery and the light went away, only to reappear after two weeks. If I disconnect the connectors to the battery and reconnect them the check light will go away for a day or so. What could be the problem? the battery connectors? they look good and clean physicly. Is there something else that I should look at? The spark plugs are new and the fuel pump is fairly new. I also notice subtle hic-ups.
