I'm wanting to upgrade a 2004 F-150 1/2 ton 6cyl

I'm wanting to upgrade a 2004 F-150 1/2 ton 6cyl to a 5.4 V8 what modifications are needed and do you have any suggestions as to who to buy the long block from ?

By the time you convert the cost would way over run the cost of trading the truck in for the v-8 model.Springs for the suspension need changed,pcm,engine wiring harness,ehaust manifolds,exhaust,all of the engine sensors,injectors,intake manifold,air intake assembly,flywheel,torque convertor(if an automatic trans) and probably a different set of final drive gears so it will be driveable without getting 2 mpg.This is most of it I may have missed a few but you are going to be at least in the 10-12k range and thats probably a low estimate.Please click on MY accept button after viewing your answer.
