1999 Chev Malibu. Changing alternator. Loosening the serpentine belt. Is there a special tool that fits to loosen it? Nothing seems to work. Can't get a socket wrench down in there because there is not enough space.

Already Tried:
Tried putting a rod in it and tried pushing up or down. Tried to get a socket wrench with no socket on it and it won't fit. There is not enough room. Is there a special tool?
