I have a 1994 Ford Ranger 4x4. I have replaced the ignition module, fuel pump, and the fuel pump relay, for some reason with no warning and apparently at random the vehicle will not start. It will turn over. If I leave it sitting sometimes and hour and/or a week it will crank up. What is the problem?

If the check engine light does not come on when you turn the key to on, the processor is not seeing key on and wont power the fuel pump relay. You will need to verify you have power at the relay and go from there to see if you have a problem with the eec power relay circuit or ground. Other possibility is with the factory battery terminal ends. They had some issue with voltage drops when you went to crank the vehicle. You can check it with a voltmeter past the terminal end by backprobing the positive battery terminal and making sure you have battery voltage when cranking. Hard to say what else without checking for codes, etc.
