Check Engine Lite On/ code P0101/ mass. air flow or volume air flow /circuit range performance problem. What do I need to replace to fix this problem? Optional Information: 1996 Chevrolet CK1500 5.0 Already Tried: Nothing so far.

No I don't have a K&N filter, everything is stock.Should I replace the mass. sensor (black box) or the sensor befor the mass. sensor in the air duct tube from the filter to solve my problem? Thanks

One more question, Is any of these sensors we have talked about difficult to replace, I retired from GM and have been a shade tree mechanic all my life including aircraft in the army. I just replaced two oxygen sensors #1 bank one and sensor #1 bank two as I had codes as bad these codes was corrected, but still have the code P0101 showing.

those maf sensors rarley fail make sure you have 12 v on pink wire 5 v on yel wire ground on blank plug it in yel wire should drop to approx 2.5 v thats a quick easy test i reccomend it first i would be willing to bet you dont have 12 v on pink wire
