I have a 1999 Ford Explorer Limited with 116000 miles on it. The explorer has always ran great. The last six months or so, the truck does not start well when up to operating temperature. You either have to crank and crank or turn the key switch off and then back on and crank, it will then start. You can't just turn the key on , then off and then on again and it will start. The engine has to turn over a little bit. Normally you would think that it was a Fuel pump problem, but the truck will start immediatley when cold. I have replaced the fuel regulator and fuel injectors, no change! Here recently the truck will stall every so often. There are no check engine lights that come on. When tooling down the interstate the truck will not hesitate and really delivers for a six cylinder engine. Gets really good milage ( 24 miles ) on the highway. Does not burn oil or anything. Never smell fuel. Sort of PUZZLING. Think it over and perhaps send me in the right direction please.

Had injectors cleaned professionally with a sonic cleaner. Expert Tire said they put on Fuel pressure Regulator and appears so.
