I've been having trouble with the starter on my 92 Ford Tempo for a couple of weeks now. Sometimes I try to start it, hearing nothing but a click(battery comes on,lights, windows etc. but not engine)< I got under the hood and gentley tap the starter with this long wrench I have, usually (9/10 times it startes after I tap) however this time it won't help. I know I need a new starter but I'm broke so I need to do(or at leaste try) this myself. Is there anway you can give me step by step instructions on how to replace the starter? Also, what tools I will need? I would greatly appreciate any help! Thank you very much,
