I have a 1991 Chevy s10 Blazer 4X4. It seems to be having trouble starting. First thing in the morning it will usually crank right up (although slow) but after it gets warm it takes a while for it to start. It will turn over really slow making an whirr sound and seems to want to catch and crank up when you stop trying to turn the key. If you let it cool a bit it will start, but very slow. Then today it started to overheat a little. Once started it seems to run fine. On few occations, it will run really choppy at first and act like it wants to cut off, but if you keep giving it gas it will eventually idle fine. I'm thinking the fuel filter needs to be changed, but as far as the starting problem goes I'm not sure if it is the distributor or the starter or some other major problem. One time while I was trying to start it a stranger who had a Blazer said it sounded like my distributor was tuening and that I needed to loosen some bolt on it and turn it clockwise a little bit cause it wasn't sitting right. One more thing, it will crank right up with a jump. Thanks
