It means "Barometric pressure out of range.

That's usually a bad MAP sensor. Be sure to check it's vacuum supply also.

my car will not start and this is the only trouble code showing. the starter is working fine and i find it hard to believe that this would keep the car from starting?

I was pointing out that you only asked what the code meant, nothing about what the problem could or couldn't be.

Okay ,thanks for your help.I have replaced the map sensor and still working on the problem. I don't have a scanner I'm waiting on a friend to loan me his.I may need your help again and will be sure to use your service.
